Fulwell Medical Centre is situated in the heart of Fulwell, in premises that were built in 1990 and designed to provide a building with the best layout for a modern GP surgery. The building is on one level, giving good access for elderly and disabled patients. In 1998 and 2005 the building was extended to try and accommodate our growing team of staff.
We have eight GP’s, one male and seven female and a large team of nursing and support staff.
Our practice has a high proportion of older patients, so our aim is to devote more time to improving care for those patients, either at the surgery or in their own home.
Local and NHS services
The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.
