Meet the Team

Our team of experienced and well-trained support staff is on duty to help you during surgery opening hours.

Our Practice Operations Manager, Mrs Melanie Nobrega is responsible for the organisation and development of all of our team of staff and practice services at the surgery. Mrs Nobrega is happy to assist with any problems, suggestions or complaints about any aspect of our service or your treatment.

Our Business & Finance Manager is Mrs Carole Hutchinson.

The reception team deals with requests for appointments, home visits and repeat prescriptions.

They are there to help you obtain advice and treatment, and any advice they may give is strictly in accordance with guidelines laid down by the GPs and the practice manager.

At times the members of the reception team may need to ask you for more information about your illness or condition to ensure you see the right member of the practice team for your treatment.

All of our staff are bound by the same code of conduct as the doctors and nurses at the practice.

This means that whatever information you give them is treated in confidence and is not discussed with anyone else except other health professionals involved in your care.

Our team of district nurses provide home nursing care and also provide he following services from nearby Southwick Health Centre HUB:

 Removal of stitches, wound care and changing dressings.

All of the doctors provide full antenatal and postnatal care in conjunction with our community midwives. The midwives run our antenatal clinic at the surgery on a Wednesday  where they provide care and advice during pregnancy.

They also carry out home visits after childbirth.
